Meet and Greet: Getting to Know Your Pediatrician
We encourage expecting parents to schedule a complimentary meet-and-greet. This visit is an excellent opportunity for you to learn about our office, meet our team and understand our approach to pediatric care.

At the Hospital: Our Commitment Begins at Birth
After your baby’s arrival, our pediatricians are ready to provide care within 24 hours at Adventist Medical Center or Providence Portland Medical Center. All you have to do is inform your nurse, and we will be notified immediately upon your baby’s birth. We will come to the hospital to do a head-to-toe check of your baby and answer your questions.
Baby’s First Appointment: A Comprehensive Check
Your baby’s first visit to our office will occur just 2 or 3 days after you leave the hospital. During this visit, we will conduct a thorough physical exam, monitor your baby’s growth and provide feeding support. We also assess for jaundice, offer postpartum depression screening and address any concerns you might have.
It’s helpful to keep a record of feeds and wet and dirty diapers. We’ll review that record together. Luckily, there are plenty of apps to keep that part easy for sleep-deprived parents.
At this visit we will give you a booklet to take home with answers to the many common questions that come up in your first few days and weeks with you new baby. You also get to pick out a hand-knitted hat for your little one!
Ongoing Care and Support
As your baby grows and changes in the first year, we will be there for every milestone. We offer free weight check visits and bilirubin checks in the comfort of our office.
Regular wellness appointments are scheduled at key developmental stages. These visits are essential for monitoring your baby’s growth and development and addressing any questions or concerns.
