Virtual Appointments (Telehealth)

Many appointments can be done virtually. When visits require a more in-depth physical exam, vital sign measurement or testing they should be scheduled in-office. Well-Visits are not offered virtually, as they require all of the above and often vaccines as well.

If for any reason during a telehealth visit we feel we are unable to do a thorough enough assessment, we will ask you to schedule an in-person visit in the office.

These are some of the visit types that can be done over telehealth.

• Medication Recheck Visits
• Follow-Up Visits

Find a place that gives you enough privacy and is free from distractions. A private space is especially important for mental health visits. 

Choose a space with good lighting that allows your child to get close to the camera. Using a smartphone is helpful for switching to the back camera in order to use the flashlight and aim the camera in your child's throat or at their rash. Removing onesies from little ones before the visit will make it easier if we need to see their breathing.

Be sure to have good wifi access, and charge your device before the visit.

Call us if you have any difficulties signing on or connecting to the visit. A strong Wifi signal is helpful. Please do not join a visit while driving; we can reschedule to a later time.

Visit copays can be made via the patient portal, Online Bill Pay or over the phone.
