Prescribing Preventive Care
Preventive care plays a vital role in helping to protect your child’s development. In addition to allowing our pediatricians to monitor your child’s growth and emotional health, these visits enable our team to develop lasting relationships with the whole family, addressing both physical and mental health. When kids grow accustomed to seeing the same friendly faces, it makes trips to receive shots, diagnose tummy aches and treat illnesses far less stressful, especially for younger kids. Earning your child’s trust early on even comes in handy when dealing with teenage patients who don’t listen to anyone without their own TikTok feed.
Our Portland pediatrics follow the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Bright Future guidelines to monitor for and vaccinate to prevent diseases, and screen for hearing and vision difficulties, anemia, developmental delays, autism, depression and many more common health concerns. By scheduling preventive care visits with our team, we’ll provide you with the information you need to promote optimal physical and emotional development for your kids.

Our Time Meets Your Schedule
Meeting your child’s health care needs means always being available to see them. That’s why we stay open 364 days a year and offer evening appointment hours Monday through Friday. We even reserve a certain number of appointments each day to see patients who develop unexpected or sudden illnesses.
Using the My Kids Chart portal, you can send our pediatricians questions at any time and receive a prompt response during business hours. We offer virtual appointments for many types of visits, so you don’t need to spend your valuable time visiting our office.
Our advice nurses are available to answer any questions you may have about your child’s care whenever our office is open. After hours, one of our pediatricians remains available for any urgent concerns that need addressing. No matter the problem, no matter the question, you can always receive the assistance you need 24 hours a day.
