To ensure everyone’s comfort and safety, we are introducing a new Fragrance-Free Policy. This initiative is designed to create a healthier space for all, especially for those with sensitivities to fragrances.

Why We’re Fragrance-Free

While many enjoy the pleasantness of fragrances, they can sometimes trigger discomfort or reactions in children with asthma, allergies or migraines. Our aim is to make every visit to our office as comfortable as possible for every child and family. We kindly ask for your assistance in this effort by avoiding the use of scented products when visiting our office. You might choose unscented alternatives or allow time for scents to dissipate before your visit.

Common Fragrance Sources to Avoid:

• Scented hair care products (shampoo, conditioner, styling)
• Hand lotions and sanitizers
• Perfumes, colognes and aftershaves
• Deodorants with strong scents
• Clothing with smoke residue
• Essential oils

These products often contain chemicals that can impact air quality and may not be fully disclosed on labels. Our priority as your East Portland pediatricians is reducing these potential risks and promoting a safe environment for all.
